Who we are
Recoup ("we", "us") recovers failed subscription payments for SaaS businesses using Stripe. This site, getrecoup.app, is our marketing site and waitlist. Contact: hello@getrecoup.app.
What we collect on this site
- Waitlist data:your email address, an optional self-reported revenue band, and the source of your visit (e.g. which link brought you here). We use this solely to contact you about Recoup's beta and launch, and to prioritize beta invitations.
- Hosting logs: our hosting provider (Vercel) processes standard request logs (IP address, user agent) to serve and secure the site.
The Loss Calculator runs entirely in your browser — the numbers you enter are never sent to us. We do not run advertising trackers and do not sell or share your data with third parties for marketing.
Where your data lives
Waitlist entries are stored in a Postgres database hosted by Neon (US region). Emails we send you are delivered via our email providers (Google Workspace, Resend). Each provider processes data under its own terms as our processor.
Your rights
You can ask us at any time to access, correct, or delete the data we hold about you, or to be removed from the waitlist and any mailing — one email to hello@getrecoup.appand it's done. If you are in the EU/EEA or UK, these rights are backed by the GDPR; our lawful basis for processing waitlist data is your consent, which you may withdraw at any time.
The product (when it launches)
The Recoup product connects to customers' Stripe accounts to recover failed payments. We never see or store card numbers — payment data stays with Stripe. A full product privacy policy and data-processing agreement will be published before the product goes live.
Changes
We'll update this page as the product evolves and note the date above. Material changes affecting waitlist members will be announced by email.
